The 7 habits of highly effective people habit 3 (Principles of Personal Management) – Jeremy Lin

In this chapter, the author indicates time management as the habit 3. Time management is the fulfillment, the physical creation, the actualization, the natural emergence of Habits 1 and 2. It is also the independent will toward becoming principle – centered. It is driven by independent will, it is also the personal management, personal discipline and working attitude. Successful leader should decide what “first things” are. It is the management that puts them first, day by day, moment by moment. This kind of person will follow the habit 2 and work on the task as necessary. He will refuse on working the task which is not related to habit 2. It is the basic principle of organization and execution around the priorities.

Step 1: Summarize all the keynotes on the checklist
Step 2: Drop down on the calendars in correct order.
Step 3: Add additional remarks, revise and plan for the next period.
Step 4: Review and enhance the method on maintaining the P/PC balance.
